It has now been six months since Matt was captured. Six months - and his whereabouts remain unknown. His present fate may not be known to us, but we must trust in the One who does know. Though we grow weary, though our eyes fill with tears, at not knowing when we will see Matt again, we must not give up hope. Matt is out there somewhere. Someone, somewhere knows something that will lead to a breakthrough in our search for Matt. We must continue to pray that information will be learned which will help to bring Matt home.

Matt, we have never forgotten about you. You are, and always will be, in our thoughts and in our prayers. And, you will be forever in our hearts. Even in your present situation, you have touched many lives. You have shown us what it really means to pray for one another, to encourage one another, to truly love one another. You have brought people together who would have never been brought together under different circumstances. Yes, Matt, your life has touched many lives.

Some people go throughout their whole lives questioning their real purpose for being here on earth. Matt, I believe that one of the purposes of your life is to show others that no matter how desparate or discouraging life can get, God is there. If we will only hold out our hand to Him, He will take hold of us, and will never, ever let us go. Matt, you may be missing from us right now, but you have never been "missing" as far as our God is concerned. To Him, you have always been "found".
